I am still trying to figure out if it will be a plug and play on mine, I dont have the My Touch, but I do have SYNC. I have read some threads that say the plug is under the carpet, and some that say its not, some that say it is a dealer add on option and so forth. If I can find the plug and it will work I will take it.

No mine does not have the Sony door speakers, at least the outer door screens are not marked with the Sony badge. I cant find the harness plug in the floor either, so I am going to have to pass on the sub. Thanks though.

The upgrade system Ford sells (Kicker) comes with an extra wiring harness and states that is compatible with all 09-14 except those with the Sony system.
With that said it's safe to say your sub will only work in another truck that already has the Sony system to be plug-n-play. Naturally it will work in any vehicle with wiring modifications.
