Sorry to thread jack, but I'm trying to ship 4 tires and 4 wheels with tires on them via greyhound. What do you guys use to package these type of things? I know the 4 tires I can send as is without packaging ,at least I have done that with tires through UPS in the past; just wrap a shipping label in tape on the sidewall and they're gone. From what I've read on greyhounds package express site you are better to ship less items such as 4 tires in one box and the other 4 rims/tires in another, so I would only have 2 packages vs 8. Would they take the tires as is and the rims/tires with cardboard layers taped over the face of the rim real good to protect the rim face from scratches? Or would I need to box it all up? Thanks guys, I've never dealt with greyhound, but I've never had to ship 8 tires and 4 rims at once either lol.
