I have a feeling they are having problems with the Halogen model of these headlights. It seems stock is no longer available from most places

I remember seeing a thread in the '09-'14 section with these lights installed.

Yes, it was by STFX. He owns a pair of the halogen models.

Just a quick update on the Light bar DRL headlights for 2013-2014 F150.

Unfortunately the headlights for trucks equipped with halogen headlights are on backorder until early December.
However we do have in stock options for F150 trucks with stock xenon (HID) headlights.

If your truck is equipped with stock xenon headlights - we have a matching set of light bar DRL headlights for you!
Here is a link: http://www.carid.com/2014-ford-f-150...-49238050.html

Let me know if you have any questions.

Check out our YouTube video that shows these lights installed on a truck:

Anyone able to compare the light output of the HID version with OEM? Yes, the ORM bulb and ballad is reused, but is the projector is these any good? I want to see a cutoff image before I the no about purchasing.

Carid, I will be your guinea pig if you sell me the housings cheap. I will also be converting from halogen to HID with the correct harness.

From what I have seen of the output, it's pretty good for aftermarket headlights. I would say maybe a little worse then OEM, but miles better then the halogens.

Do you have these Steve? It would be nice to see some output photos as well as some rear photos without the exterior covers. It looks like the hole might be big enough to replace the projector without taking the entire headlight apart.

Carid,

These lights are a full $100 cheaper than yours.

I would assume they are still made by Spyder, but who knows. The lady I live chatted with today at Carid said she could drop the lights $30 and provide free shipping to 98295.

That helps, but with the crappy exchange rate right now I could use a bit more.

I am still not sure if I should convert to these lights or wait it out to find some OEM housings. Both look good to me and WHEN the LED bar on these dies, they will still look good without them on.

The headlights that we sell are made Spyder and comply with the highest quality standards ISO 9000 and 9002. Approved by the SAE. Meet DOT regulations and compliant with FMVSS 108. Not sure about the lights that you found, but these Spyder lights will last. The LED bar should serve you for the whole lifetime usage of the vehicle. LED lights have a longer life span than halogen or HID bulbs in the low/high beams.

Beside that - these lights really make heads turn

FYI, the amazon reseller confirmed these lights as made by Spyder.

It would be nice if the link worked to get there on this forum though...
