I'm just not sure why someone would remove OEM HIDs to put aftermarket HIDs in there truck. You would sell a lot more of your HID lights if they were wired so that it would work in trucks that came with halogens from the Factory.

I don't think anyone will remove their oem HIDs for these but if they do I hope I can grab their oem lights at a deal lol

I was looking at getting a high end set of these which were about 1k. Instead I bought a set of oem lights. Depending on output with the projector used in these lenses, id consider selling my set for these.

The manufacturer has finally provided a presentation video of these headlights. See how they light up at night in this YouTube video:

Usually manufacturers like Recon, Spyder, Spec-D, Anzo, Depo rarely provide videos or pictures of the headlight output as it is standard for pretty much all of them.
Aftermarket headlights must be DOT and SAE compliant, and satisfy the light intensity, color output and pattern standard.
The Spyder headlights equipped with halogen lights are almost as bright as the stock halogen Ford lights and meet SAE and DOT standards. Besides you can always upgrade them with an aftermarket HID conversion kit.
It's different with the OEM HID compatible aftermarket headlights, as they basically use your existing HID fixture and provide exactly the same light out put as you used to get from your stock HID headlights.
