Got them installed and finally got my HID's from ddm tuning as well. They have an amazing cutoff and the output is incredible compared to stock.

Yellow98stang looks great! Nice job. Mine are still working great too so far, love them and look great with the raptor light bar.

Just a quick update. I have had my Black version of these spyder headlights withe TRS wiring harness and OEM bulbs and ballast since February and they have performed perfect with no hiccups so far. I think the grounding points I used, dielectric grease and Tape on connections has made the difference. I love these headlights they look and work great.

So if I'm understanding this correctly, in order to get the HID version of this headlight to work in my halogen equipped truck I will need

Halogen to HID retrofit harness

2 oem D3S ballasts

2 D3S bulbs

And the HID spyders headlights

Also what about the wire that goes from the ballast to the bulb to give it power? Is that included with the headlight? Thanks!

I believe I got mine with the ballast and bulbs all in a oem kit from billnvicsretrofits. The oem ones are short and very stiff so i ended up buying some from TRS that sells the harness. They were way more flexible and longer which made it easier to connect.

Default Bi-xenon

So I've read through this whole thread and I'm a touch confused. My truck had the factory halogen setup, I'm looking to get the halogen projectors (not the hid ready).. how does it work being I can't find a H7 bi-xenon HID kit (high beam and low will be the same?) I'd like to just get everything for the HIDS in a kit so I don't have to try to piece things together.. what is my easiest route? Straight to the point.

Default Led Bulbs in the kit

Has anyone tried to put LED bulbs into these headlights? I currently have the factor halogen Bulbs on my Truck and would love to buy this headlight unit and upgrade it to LED bulbs for high and low beams instead of trying to wire up an HID kit. Thank you!

Modern LED conversion kits for headlights are similar to HID kits, but they are more reliable and energy efficient. The also have a lower level of glare and you can focus the beam better. You can read more about them in our tech article: https://www.carid.com/articles/led-h...-lighting.html

We do have LED headlight bulbs for F150 trucks:
