Well I blew the truck up but it did not have a dyno tune and I suggested the new owner get a custom tune . The other problem I had was belt squeal . It took forever to find ... Finally we figured out it was the alternator pulley . I fought with it quite a while before figuring it out .

Then the new F150 came out and the sweet 5.0 called my name . Hope the new owner makes out great with it and I wish I only paid 2000 for it . Lol

Did you get a tune from edelbrock? I might get another tune, but it will be dyno tuned. How ya liking the 5.0? You could get that 2.9 whipple...

Think my days of boost are over . I love the 5.0 . It is a great engine and a home run as far as i am concerned . I think a custom tune is a must if you have a reputable tuner close to you . Glad you are enjoying your unit !
