Never pay for goods as a "gift" or "friends & family" in PayPal

Great feedback thanks
Be careful of those that ask you to pay for items as a "gift" in PayPal. If you do, you forfeit filing for a disput if your goods do not arrive, or are damaged due to poor packing by seller. While it avoids a percentage charge, it offers no protection with PayPal.
PayPal treats a "gift" payment just as it sounds; a gift. You have no buyer protection when payment is made this way, as a "gift" payment is not used to buy goods.
Be Careful!!!

Some banks also use Zelle, (many do) it’s a free service to send $$ from one bank to another to account. A lot of landlords use it for folks to pay auto and no checks.
There are no fees with it. Just matter of seeing of their bank has it. Tie in with phone or email.
I do Cyber Security for a living and I now use this to send my folks $$ for Christmas or others. My dad has his PayPal, no issues over the years, however I am skeptical sometimes with things

if using Apps, avoid public WiFis unless using VPNs. Hope this helps. Banks are trying to keep things secure, although some from my take still stink at it. 😏
