It's a great mod, and I salute your entrepreneurship.

Might we suggest a cabin air filter and a glove box light for your next invention :-)

Finished both of mine in under 20 minutes. The glove box path for the passenger side was definitely the way to go. I removed the air vent side panel of the dash so I could see where I was working. Thanks again!

You're quite welcome & glad you like them.
It's really not a hard job to do & pretty quick, once you see where they access is.
Thanks again & enjoy!

I missed the part about pulling the glove box. I did the driver's side first, so once I knew where I was going I could do it by feel.

Definitely quicker and easier with two people. My wife held the door to keep it from swinging open and was able to hand me tools, apply the threadlock, and swap the string out.

I finally handed the cores back to the mailman yesterday.

By the way, the instructions called for a 7mm socket. What was that for?

Good point & definitely easier if there is a 2nd person too if you have an extra helping set of hands handy at the moment.

I believe I wanted to add as a suggestion of removing the bolts of the glove box door, just so it does it get damaged in the installation.... I believe those bolts are the 7mm headed bolts.
Glad you like them & refund will be done when they arrive.
Thanks again,
-Brett

I've looked at this for awhile and I'm ready to go for it. I didn't read all 12 pages, so I apologize in advance. What's the PayPal address to send money to?

Installed mine about two weeks ago, very happy with the result!
I did the driver's side first and removed the glove box door when I did the passenger. Took about the same time (25 minutes...I'm slow) on either side, learned the "feel" on drivers.
Thanks, Brett for great customer service, the core rebate showed up in just three days on PayPal.
