Wow what a great idea. One of the most annoying things about my truck is the door slowly working its way all the way open.

In 2009 I purchased my first new 12th gen....
I took them off and carefully used a dremel to make a new position... What a PIA!!!! It worked, but you have to make sure it is dead on & perfectly in line with the other side as well.
I did it on my 2011 as well when I traded. But purchased new ones for my 2013 that I currently have.
This is a VERY ANNOYING problem with our trucks and our large, wide doors.
With that said, my company that I work for has a sister company that has a large machine shop. We do robotics, linear actuators, and mainly pneumatics.
They have a huge machine shop and a few CNC milling machines. I'm not going to throw around big words to try to impress anyone on how this is done.... Again, you can try & use a dremel like what I originally did... But it got to be near perfect. So I took a video on how it's done at the machine shop on the CNC machine (shown below)....

Please keep in mind... This is simply an exact machining of the other positions on the door check. If your door is in the MP (Middle Position), a large gust of wind can still pull the door open wider, but It will definitely hold it in all "normal" situations of course. This is great in parking lots & even in close parking quarters at your work, or even at your house.

My program is the first of its kind for these, as a core charge/buy back program.
Yes, these are used.... BUT they are reconditioned, regreased (packed MORE than what originally had), reassembled with stainless steel bolts & nuts, and even brand new foam gaskets!
The only thing I can not get are the rubber dust caps. Many of them are still intact and in good shape, and many come back to me with them completely deteriated or already missing.
Folks... Those dust cups are pretty much useless anyways, and don't let that hinder any thoughts of this awesome mod. Yes our door jams can get "dusty" but up in that area is very minimal and there is a very generous amount of new lubrication in there now in the MP door checks! Also, The new inner foam gasket that I personally make will help much better anyways... And these still have a LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!! (Again, many WILL still have the dust cups).

Any questions, please feel free to email me at:
lethalweapon09@yahoo.com
Please keep in mind that I do have a regular day job, but I alway answer EVERY person & email and usually on break/lunch or in the evenings.

Sorry, for long post, but wanted to tell and help answer any questions... Plus let you guys see a pretty cool video on "how they're done!"
Thanks,
-Brett

Just got around to installing these. Took about 10min per side, super easy. I've got big hands, but they're slim so I came out with just a few scratches. Definitely recommend using the string and not pulling the plastic grommets all the way out, just pop out the top and fold them down. Awesome product!

Thanks & glad you enjoy your MP Door Checks!
& yes, the install really isn't that bad at all to do...and the string definitely will be your best friend in the event you drop it down in between the double wall.
Thanks again!

Hi guys,

I know this thread now has close to 150 posts on it & it's hard for someone new to want to read every page.... But recently I got a couple emails asking if the price went up.... The price was advertised in the very beginning of the thread back in October of 2015.... At the end of February 2016, I advertised the new price change in post #95, then again in post #109 & also in #118.

So for the record, here are the current prices again.
$105 is the upfront cost.
$55.00 get credited back thru the PayPal transaction when the cores are returned.
So.... End result is only costing $50.00 for this great mod.

This program is ONLY for USA customers/or shipping addresses. It just will not justify the shipping costs to any of our Canadian fellow members.

I think that anyone who knows me, I will always offer the lowest possible price.
Unfortunately prices do go up & I simply can't absorb all of it.
The machinist cost went up slightly... Then USPS goes up (it NOW costs $6.80 to ship a small flat rate package -one way).... And please remember that I include a postage paid shipping label of your cores back to me (so for me... Shipping alone is almost $14).
The stainless hardware isn't much, but adds up, but also brand new foam gaskets are reinstalled too.
I also send an invoice thru PayPal and I also pay those fees as well, not the buyer.
So this post is a friendly reminder & also to help anyone new on here what the current prices are. (Unfortunately I can go back to the beginning of the thread and edit the prices).. Or maybe I can ask one of the mods to change it if they can? (I'll check into that)

Thank you all for your business & hope you're all enjoying your MP Door Checks!!
Anyone who is interested, simply email me directly at: lethalweapon09@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Brett

Thank you all for your recent orders & glad your like your MP Door Checks!!

Payment review:

I prefer PayPal..... I send the buyer an invoice that has the description of the item that is being purchased. (I also pay the PayPal fees, NOT the buyer)
PayPal is one of the safest money transactions out there. It's safe & secure.

IF you do not have or prefer not to use PayPal, you can simply mail a check (needs to clear) before shipping.

And again, because of this type of core/buy back program, this can only be for USA buyers / shipping addresses. Canada shipping is high & simply won't justify the costs.

Any questions, please feel free to email me directly: lethalweapon09@yahoo.com

I'm here to help... Not drain your wallet.

Thanks,
Brett

Not only are these extremely well made, the installation instructions made it a breeze. I'm old, disabled and don't bend too well... if I can do it without a problem so can anyone smart enough to buy an F-150. I buy a lot of things over the internet and Brett was the nicest person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. An absolute gentleman and great businessman. Thank you for your product, but more so for your courtesy.

Unfortunately I do not. I kicked around the idea & even though just like yourself that there is indeed some interest in the rear doors.... The way this "buy back" / core return program is, it just is not demanding enough for me to personally do them. Sorry, but thanks for keeping me in mind.
