Had this installed in my 2011 but have since upgraded to a 2016 and can no longer use this. This is the security module that adds the shock sensor and is also needed to add the Remote Access App. This is the one that installs into the tpms on the passenger side behind glove box.
Depends on the sensitivity level you set this at and where you mount it. You can have it set up where just a bump will set off the warning chirp and then if it occurs again it will set off the alarm.
