Hmmmm?
I may have to look into that & check out if the switches can be purchased separately & how the ease of wiring connections are.
I wouldn't mind making a new 4 switch panel with a laser logo of your choice and using the OEM up fitter style switches (used in the super duty & raptors).
I believe that the OEM up fitter switches are all in one "unit" and sold as that unit only. ...Really not sure if that's going to be possible...?
But I'll look into that & keep you guys posted.
If it's feasible, marketable & gives another switch style option.... It's always possible.

Huge shout out Brett for the custom switches. It looks great, great quality in the build. I installed it yesterday and wired up one switch so far. The others will be done soon. But I love how the wires are all down by the pedals thanks to the cord extension. Great product keep it up. Oh and for anyone who has a sunroof. Man it is a pain in the *** with trimming the plastic. Just an FYI. Thanks again Brett.

Thank you for the kind words!
That looks awesome!!!!!
Yea, trimming the plastic support if you have a moon roof isn't the most fun part of the install..... A dremel with a rotory bit makes it much easier but also kinda messy, so have your shop vac handy.
(Anyone WITHOUT a moon roof, there is NO support and your install will be easier and plus more room).

Thanks again & great install!

I installed Super Duty upfitters in my 2012... You are correct that the switches come as a unit (and are only available that way). I didn't try take the unit apart, so I don't know if it would be possible to remove the actual switches. My guess would be it's not (just based on how most things are made these days).

Wiring the entire unit is simple, but you'll need the special plug for it. It's a square-ish 8 pin but doesn't use all 8. 1 wire is 12V+ in, 1 for each switch out (4 total), 1 ground, and 1 illumination.

IMO, if you front mount them, they won't look very good due to the bulky plastic trim. The front face of the trim is rounded so it would be tricky to mount to a flat metal surface and would need to be epoxied.

Yea, I looked on eBay & see some used ones that I just may purchase & experiment with to see how it's all built.
Using the whole unit wouldn't look good....but always up for a challenge!
....And for anyone who likes seeing these in pics..These KustomFX switch panels look 100% better in person & installed up in your truck!!!

Oh man, love the way these look! I got moonroof, did you use a dremel to carve away what was not needed?

Hi ElGordoTejano,

The switch panel that you are inquiring about is with the KIC (Keep It Clean) switches. (Those switches are approx 1/3 the price than the OTRATTW/Carling switches, by the way)..... But the switch panel and 4 switches & any laser logo if you choose to have one, like the shown FX4,... Is $63.95 & free shipping in the USA. (That would be the switch panel & 4 switches only.

If you want it complete, with a power cable, all soldered up ready to go & the end at the dash will also be labeled for easy ID... Total would then be $93.95 shipped.

And yes, a dremel IS your best friend on cutting the white support. It's not bad at all, but you need the right dremel bit to cut thru the plastic support that's on moon roof equipped truck. Again, it's pretty easy & only takes about an extra 15 minutes to clearance out that support.

Any questions, feel free to email me directly at: lethalweapon09@yahoo.com
(I'm still on vaca until Monday but I still check my emails & the forum daily.

Pics of moon roof equipped truck that will need to modify this white support.... (ANY F-150 That does NOT have a moonroof - this step does not apply).
