Is this all one would need if they had oem HID lights and was converting from halogen? Would I be right saying that if I had lights with projectors and ballasts and hooked this up I would be good to go? I'm a complete newbie when it comes to these lights. How would you rate the quality of these harnesses?

Yes, this is an extremely easy install to wire up OEM HID's to a truck with stock halogen. If you have complete setup with ballasts and bulbs this plugs right into the back of the new lights. As for quality, these are great. I'm using the same kit in my own truck. This is the second generation harness with the thicker gauge wire. The relay box is fully sealed, somewhere around here there is a post with the relay box completely submerged in water while powering a set of lights.
