Hey chootem, just throwing this out there for ya.... I just plasti dipped mine this past weekend. They were chrome as well. Came out great. 6.00 a can at lowes. Figured I'd throw it your way!

Done any other dipping on your truck? I have a blue flame also and just curious on the look.

This past weekend was the first experience with plasti dip. I did the "f150" emblems, the handles, and front and rear ford ovals in prep for some overlays from moody blue. (Which I need to order). Came out great, the plasti dip was actually awesome to work with... Was kind of amazed how easily the excess peeled off around the emblems.
