Did you notice any performance gains from using this intake system at all? I keep reading posts on here how everyone says the stock set up is the best thing ever. But this system being so much less restricted makes sense that it should be quite beneficial on a force induction engine.

I cannot honestly say since I used it with a tune from 5 star. Combined I definitely saw an improvement and huge gains. The AFE website says it increases horsepower numbers more than any other intake I've seen for the Ecoboosts. I think these trucks are very quiet and it gives it much better sound from the front. I could hear the blow off valves and the turbos a lot more. Obviously it looks cooler too when u pop the hood.

i see it says 2011 but I'm assuming it will fit any 3.5 through 2014 right?

Yes but the 12-14 had a different pipe where the MAF sensor is that u would need if u are not installing on an '11.
