I'm not sure where you're located but around me we have LKQ, they sell new and used auto parts. The used stuff is OEM and usually off a totaled vehicle. They grade the part and give a warranty also. They have locations all across the US so they have usually been able to get the parts I need within a day or so if it's not local. Might be worth looking them up and giving them a shot if you have one around you.

Still looking for a White platinum tri coat (color) Tailgate with step and camera. I would prefer one WITHOUT the PLATINUM trim panel. But I may consider as this color is hard to find

IMO you guys are unrealistic on the price of these, anything under $1K is a steal!!! Mine was stolen in July and my insurance company wrote a 2 page estimate totaling nearly $5K with paint and labor. The plastic Platinum trim piece alone is $1600. Ford does not sell a complete gate, they sell pieces and parts to build a gate. I was lucky enough to find a white tri coat Platinum gate from LKQ Auto Parts and had to give nearly $3K for it, then have it shipped rekeyed to match truck.
By the way, the adjuster told me he does 3-6 per month mostly from high end vehicles. I had an electronic lock installed in my new gate and also a McGuard that bolts in the bottom right corner.

The gate sells new for $650ish and then paint and **** will put you at a grand. no offence to your adjuster but most don't know there *** from a hole in the ground.
he must have wanted to give you a good pay day.. I am mainly looking for one that I can pick up over shipping... too many scammers online

that one in the photo I posted it what I hope to find.. and a miss communication had it sold before I got it.. my other problem is fear of shipping it if I find it.. I found every other damn color but the UG is like gold... I don't get it

BUMP... as of 1/4/17,,, Now that the holidays are here and gone I am continuing my search for a WHITE PLATINUM TRI-COAT (UG) Tailgate with camera and Step. Hit me up if you have one.. I would prefer the white pearl gate WITHOUT the platinum tin panel attached but may consider
