Default 2010 tail lights with 35w HID backup lights

I bought these tail lights to do install of 35w HID lights in backup locations. Mod worked well so I installed same kit in my original tail lights. Selling these with bulbs installed and ballasts. Excellent condition. $135 shipped.

Please don't take this as me bashing your idea, because I love the HID reverse idea, more light while moving backwards is ALWAYS welcome! I have 2 55w halogen driving lights as AUX reverse lights.

Isn't it bad for the ballasts to be turned on and off quickly before they get fully warmed up?

You could be right. I don't know. Guess I will find out over time.
