North Central: 20" FX4 wheels - $550 obo

I would be very hesitant to buy from someone that joined the site and the first thing they do is try to sell something.

On more meds than ymeski
Original buyers opinion noted. If anyone has any questions please ask the OP.
Since the requirements to sell here are meet, the post stays. No one has to buy from the OP and I would recommend being careful from buying anything from anyone online. It is generally best to buy local so you can see the item and judge condition for yourself.

Well that escalated quickly.
Do you have the wheels in your possession now? If so, update the picture. If you don't have them in your possession, Send me a PM, and i will shut this thread down until you can get the updated pictures.

Mods be aware that per fedex tracking these items are still at terminal awaiting pickup at the request of OP. They are not in his possession.
My guess is he sells them. Has someone pay for shipping and goes in on this tracking number and changes the delivery address to another location to get free shipping and send some unsuspecting person wheels that have traveled the country multiple times without him laying eyes on them.
But clearly I'm the scammer here and this is all speculation and part of my scamming plan hat I've had in place for years just to deploy on this upstanding seller.
Here is the tracking number for anyone who wants to look.

Two piece shipment.
Good day.

No I didn't nor did I get them for $500. The seller decline to offer money off of our original price due to his poor shipping packaging. I was willing to work with him but he was not. He claimed my not negotiating shipping terms was my problem and he was not responsible for the scratches in the finish. honestly 300 to have them powder coated would have put them at the new asking price had he been willing to work with me.
Instead he said it was all on me for not specifying how to package or asking if his shoddy description was a lie or not.
One note which is petty but the original ad showed they came with lug nuts. I did not receive those and when I inquired why I was told I should have negotiated that as well.
Seems the ad was just a front and the actually delivery of items said in the ad were all up up for negotiating. Taking a mans word is apparently no good these days.
I hope who ever buys thes fully understands what condition they are prior to buying. 500 for scratches and chips wheels is closer to a fair deal. $850 I paid after shipping for said condition wheels was not a good deal when they were not fairly described and packaged poorly.
Also. His comment about wanting to meet me face to face involved a 600 mile round trip for me. That's a long way to go for parts. I wanted PayPal for the obvious ease and buyer protection as $850 is a lot of money to give someone and hope they ship product.
Someone made the comment earlier about post counts being low and selling items. I too was worried about that but took the chance that not all people are out to just make a quick buck.
Maybe the op is a good guy in a hard spot, maybe I just expect too
Much when spending my money or maybe he op is truly a deceiver and plays this game often to make a quick buck.

As of March 19, 2015, the tracking number (780226231327) on the FedEx tracking web site shows that these rims are at "local FedEx facility".
If I put aside the original conversation between the seller and buyer, I don't understand how the OP of this thread can offer them for sale again, when they are not in his/her possession. The pictures in the OP's post now cannot be reflecting the condition of the rims, siince there is no way to know how they have arrived back, or if FedEx damaged them further.
