04-12 f150 ez down strut tailgate

I had this item on my truck for less than a month before selling my truck.
Will fit 04-12 f150 excluding 4 door step side or flare side. Also will fit 04-2009 Lincoln mark lt
Everything is included from original purchase except for the plastic cover piece because I had to cut it, in order to take it off of my truck. I can't see how electrical tape wouldn't work when reapplying the strut. All it does is prevent the rubber stopper from coming off. Original paid $50, asking $30 shipped.
