Default 2013 FX4 Ecoboost Price

Hey all, Im looking to sell my 2013 Ford F-150 ecoboost. Its Race Red, has only 13k miles, leather, sunroof, remote start, navigation, 2" leveling kit, 20" tires. Just looking to see what its worth. The dealer wants to give me $32,000 for it, but I think its low considering i paid $43,000 for it 9 months ago. Any Thoughts?? Thanks

Not too sure about how prices are in your area, though you overpaid a bit for where I'm at in California. (East Bay-Sacramento area)

$32 isn't wildly unreasonable as you are experiencing the largest part of your depreciation right now. Good luck, if you are trading in for something just remember that you can make up some of that sunk cost by getting a great deal on the new vehicle. I sold my last truck to the dealer at a slight loss but got a wonderful deal on a Limited F150 so it evened out for me.

P.S. Ask yourself whether you paid $43k for the truck or if that number includes taxes etc....

My '13 FX2 was about 39k, so a 4x4 at 43k isnt that unreasonable. Dealer will give you trade in, not private party value. Could you get more for it private party value? Yes. But, trade in will also lower the taxable amount on your new purchase and you can atill write off the tax you paid on your purchase.

I got 35k for a 13 ecoboost fx4 with appearance package, all bells and whistles and only 6k miles. Paid 43k for it as well. Most places offered 32k and I settled with one dealer at 35k after some back and forth. That number will start going down very quickly on a trade. Don't expect to see anywhere near 40k - I know you didn't specify that number, just using it as a reference. 1st year alone you lose about 25% value on it. I'd think 34 would be fair on a trade. And I you buy another vehicle, you also save on the taxes of the new vehicle...

Holy crap you got screwed! 39k gets an Eco fx4 loaded here in Texas. With the new ones here, 32k is good

Sticker was 47,270. If you honestly think im going to go all the way to texas to save 2-3k and bring it back to south florida, you might want to reassess a good deal.

I just bought my dads fx4 for 40k and shipped it to him in California. Still paid less than California prices by a few grand. So yeah, you still got screwed

That is my trucks twin, only yours is newer and I just sold mine with 27k on it for $37,000 to a private buyer.
I don't think your purchase price was crazy...
