it all depends how often your going to drive. if you go with a larger rim like a 24", the tires are going to be more and you'll go through them fast due to less rubber than a 22" rim

less rubber where? the tread depth should be around the same. the sidewall will probably be shorter with the 24's.

well true. but if you go with a smaller rim theres always an option for more thread unless your going with low profile tires for both. it all depends on what you have room for

Remember that with the larger rims you stoping distance will get longer and longer. You should consider a brake upgrade.
