Default Sunroof Repair Kit

I bought this kit from the Sunroof Dr. for $120 before I figured out my truck was still under warranty
According to the site it fits all 2000-2014 f150/f250/f350 and navigator. Opened the box just to make sure I had everything when I got it. Shipping will be around $6 for US so please keep that in mind when offering. I'm looking to get $100 for this OBO.

That kit works very good. Easy to install (after you get the headliner down)!!
I repaired mine a couple years back. Took two of us 3 hours to drop the headliner and make the repair and get everything back together.

Yea, your dealer replaces the entire unit.
Is not a three day job though - free OR charge - the time should be about the same.
If I can do it in three hours, the dealer should be able to do it in much less as they do them frequently.

Well its not just that. Theyre replacing the headliner from water damage and I asked them about a ticking noise this morning (2nd day) and they said something with exhaust. So tomorrow they're fixing that.

So the dealer is replacing yours? Maybe mine isn't bad enough but I have heavy staining at all 4 corners on mine and was told today that they just clean the headliner...I'd rather have it replaced because every detail shop I spoke to said that was the only way to ensure there is no mold or mildew in the roof, and that you eliminate the smell so it doesn't come back. Mine was due to a faulty 3rd brake light.

Yeah they replaced mine but it took a lot of convincing to get it approved considering my warranty was only for mechanical misshaps
