Default For Sale: 1987 Ford F150

This is a one owner 1987 Ford F-150 4x4. The asking price is $7,000. The odometer reads 19,822, but it has rolled over 1 time. Pics are below. If interested, call me at 931-308-7746 or email at erikcole@hughes.net. This has been a great truck for 22 years, but it hasn't been getting used for about 5 years. It's just taking up space in my shop. I dropped a lot of coin on this thing about 5 years ago. Then parked it.

Engine:
302 Fuel Injected, Rebuilt about 20k miles ago, bored 0.030", Kieth Black flat top pistons. The crank, rods, & pistons were balanced before assembling. The heads have been ported and polished. It is a full roller engine; roller cam, roller rockers, etc. The cam is a Laser cam with a 0.496" lift. I don't remember the grind, but I bought it for low end. It has Hooker Super Comp shorty headers, 2-1/2" dual exhaust and 2 Flowmasters. CPU has Hypertech chip and 160° degree thermostat. Future plans are to swap the engine over to Mass Air and use a Mustang CPU.

Update: I just purchased an A9L Computer and harness from a 1991 Mustang GT. I have started the Mass Air conversion.

Trans & T-Case:
NP435 4 speed manual, and Borg Warner 1356

Wheels & Tires:
37x14.50 R15 Toyo M/T Open Country (about 5,000 miles on these) Wheels are 15x10 Eagle Alloys.

Axles:
Rear is the factory 8.8 with new axles shafts and 4.56 gears open diff. Rear has a Trick Flow Cast Aluminum diff cover with carrier bearing support studs. Front is a Dana 44 straight axle from a 1979 ford with 4.56 gears. The diff is welded, and Superwinch lockouts. Front has disk brakes. Rear has drums.

Suspension:
Tuff Country leaf springs on front and back. 6" lift total. New Rancho Shocks

Interior:
New custom carpet recently installed. Carpet is sewn to rubber backing, and it has sound insulation under it. The seat is from a new model XLT Lariat. There is a Hi Liner headliner installed with 4 4" speakers. There are 2 6-1/2" speakers in the doors. Two Rockford Fosgate 10's and a Crossfire amp behind the seat. The CD player is a Pioneer.

Exterior:
Truck has been painted once 3 years ago to the original color. There is a drop in bedliner. The tool box in the bed does not go with the truck though. I also have a camper top for this truck that I'll throw in with it.

Here is my Craigs list ad. The engines cheap dress up kit that was on it doesnt look like that anymore cause of antifreeze got all over it from a small hole in the thermostat housing which was replaced years ago but i have brand new Powered by Mustang valve covers for it. Also is driveable now spent 260$ on a suspension inspection and put together after buying all new front suspension components and rear leafs and shocks.

The rear fenderwell was no problem. However, the rear side of the front fenders rubbed the tire when it flexed or turned. I cut the back side of the front fenderwell for clearance. I had a body shop do the work so it would be a clean look. For the record, I used to have 38.5x14.5 R15 Swamper TSL-SX's on this truck with 15x10 wheels with no problem. I'll see if I can find a picture of it.
