Considering two things.
the hood mounted lights - which dually would be ideal for this - when I want to light up the night on empty roads etc most light as possible.
backup lights.
I know there are different lenses offered so curious which would be best for these situations.
Thinking about pulling the trigger on a set or two

For back up lights, we normally suggest the diffused lens as it is more of a puddle style work light and lights up the area behind the truck quite well.
In the front, a set of duallies in the flood pattern if you are driving slower on dirt roads, or dually spot lights if you are going for more distance.

Got mine today, won't have time to install for a few days! After reading Yukes questions and responses, I hope I did not make the wrong choice, I ordered diffused. I am mounting up front on raptor hood mounts and my intent was not max distance but width with some distance for lighting up ditches. Looking on rigid a website at the pattern pics it seemed the diffused would be the best for this application, I guess we will find out.
**Edit added pics** On Rigids website it shows the spot and flood have the same picture, but the flood is a 20 degree pattern, the spot is a 10 degree pattern, and the diffused is a 60 degree pattern.
