I have a call into Mr. Rogel now about where to mount the perimeter box. If you do not mind posting it can you describe where you put it!

On the left side of your dash is a access panel, pop it off, you may have to loosen the weatherstrip. There is a defrost tube right there. Tie wrap it to that. I had mine on a metal brace on the dash and it wouldn't work there. He had me move it there where apperently ford says and it works superior. If you need more help let me know.

And if you start at the top of this page you can see where my confusion comes from.
Don't get me wrong, I am not on here to bash them. They were very nice to work with over the phone and and very fast service. I just need to clear up my issue is all. I wanted the perimeter alarm anyway, but also the ability to start my truck from inside my house (now I have to walk to the front door and watch to make sure it cranks). Maybe the whole issue was my mistake and I should of ask more questions. No biggie, I am sure we will get it worked out.

For those with the perimeter alarm, would the alarm sound when someone is breaking through the door handle? I just had my truck broke into last month. Would like to order this kit but no pm response from Rogel Ford.
