Take your tunes on the road! Now you can connect portable audio players (MP3, iPod,® iRiver,® SanDisk,® etc.), plus portable CD and cassette players, right to your in-dash radio. Just plug your player into the harness – a 3.5mm stereo connector provides the interface so you can listen to music through the radio’s speakers and control the volume. Audio connection is housed securely in your vehicle’s glovebox or center console. "Dealer Installation Recommended" Some models require an additional antenna adapter, please check with your local dealer for details.

I have never used it, but I dont see why not. It just connects inline with the antenna, when you turn it on you have to tune to a preset station then it transmits over that channel on youre radio. I have never used mine but have played with a few installed on customers cars and seem to work good.

if this would work on my 99 lightning, i'd love to get it. but seems like it only works on late model trucks.

i cant see why it wouldnt work on any make or model. It just plugs inline with the vehicle antenna, when you turn the unit on it send a signal over a fm frequency ( you can select 87.9 or 88.3) then tune youre radio to that station. and plug you're idop or mps player into it and its on !
