I am seriously thinking about selling my truck and buying a higher performance model f150 in the next two weeks. Its a 2008 F150 STX 4.6L sticker was $27,800 i think. I ended up paying $22,500 for the truck. The truck turned one this past July.
I have pictures on my profile. It has 22" ford wheels which have about 8000miles on them which retail at $3900. It has Roush off road side exhaust. If i remember right those were in the $700's. K&N Cold air intake, it was a few hundred i forget exactly. It has Infinity components upfront and Infinitys in the rear doors being pushed by a kennwood 4 channel 500w amp, got those on sale brand new from crutchfield, everything was $500-550. That has been installed for about 2 months now. the STX stickers have been removed and the truck looks very clean. Oil and filter is changed everytime before the oil gets dirty. Other than that its a pretty stock truck. Window tint as dark as you can get legal in TX 25% front i think. It has the 3.55 rear and i get 19mpg on the highway at 70. And a little over 18mpg if the AC is on and using cruise controll. It has the CD player/mp3. I bought ($80) the chrome trim for the vents from a XLT. And the radio has the chrome rings around the ***** which makes everything look nice.
If i missed anything let me know. KBB says its worth $22,600. I have put a few grand into the truck so make me an offer and if someone shoots me a good number it will make up my mind to sell and buy the one im currently looking at.
