Why is VA in the Northeast?
I just noticed that Virginia is in Northeast according to how they are catagorized on here. I found this out after searching the whole southeast section and couldnt find anything about VA. Just a little history lesson I guess but the last 2 capitals of the south were Richmond VA and Danville VA. I guess its just a little southern pride but seeing VA as classified as north is a little disturbing...lol. I'm just surprised this hadn't been brought up before. No worries and guess I was just a little bored so I decided to post this

If I really believed i was living in the "Northeast" I would be forced to move further south. Virginia is absolutely the south, Maryland is considered the south also. We may not be the "deep south", but we are south nonetheless. Plus people from the real northeast consider us southerners and country bumpkins...

As long as you can still find sweet tea you are in the south. When you get on up in to west virginia you can't find it anymore. There for us virginians are southeners!

good call on the sweet tea, was in jersey once (not my idea) and asked for sweet tea at a diner and the lady says "I can bring some sugar for you to put in your tea if you like", never mind I'll have a beer...tell me you have coors.
As for the floridian, seems like Cuban region might be a better fit. Beautiful state, go to Islamorada at least once a year to catch bones on the flats...

Yeah no ****, I ventured into yankee country recently, ordered sweet tea, surprisingly enough they had it but after I took a sip, well, let's say I should have seen it coming, it was one of those nestle sweet tea that you get from the soda fountain, just nasty! I told them to take it away and give me some water.
