Anyone from the Chesapeake area want to see you up a meet? Maybe when it gets warmer meet down at corova to drive on the beach?

I would be down for that too. And yeah it doesn't HAVE to be warm out. But it makes it more enjoyable

Yeah haha it does. I think some of the beaches are closed to drive on in the winter anyways

It used to be that MORE beaches were open for driving during the off season (fall, winter, spring)...has that changed? A few years ago we drove on the beach in Kitty Hawk in October.

don't know about Kitty Hawk... Corolla is open year round ...there are houses there..

Right, Corolla is open year round due to those residencies, as well as the areas around Rodanthe, Oregon Inlet and some parts just North and South of the Hatteras Light.

However in the offseason you used to be able to traverse a large portion of Kitty Hawk and Nags Head.
