Assuming you're responding to my original post- I made this thread about a year and a half ago but it's morphed into an SC chatter thread. I have enjoyed Chucktown so far, that's for sure.

I wasn't getting proper boost and it was running a bit rough. I could hear the whistle of a vacuum leak and couldn't find it so I went old school with some starte fluid/ether and found it that way. It's the right angle hose so it was nearly impossible to find. It actually cracked on the inside radius of the hose. I used some fuel line and problem solved.

Anyone in the upstate got some spring compressors I could borrow? I've got some bilsteins coil overs coming in but I need to adjust them hence the need for the compressors.

If you end up not being able to find any, you can rent them from autozone. I believe you get your money back when you return the also.

Ya I heard that. Heard they were crap too though. Not sure how crappy they are, I don't even know what good ones look like.

I borrowed a set from advance auto. Make sure you get the big ones. The coils are big and stiff. When are you planning on doing them? If I'm around you can drive over to my place and we can use the impact tools on them. It'll take about half a day to get done from start to finish. I think you need to unplug the electric power steering or it can cause some problems while banging on the components to get them to let go.

Thanks for the info and the offer! I'm in a unique situation. I'm actually getting a set of used bilsteins from a guy in NC. To save us both the trouble of messing with the springs he's gonna take off his coil overs, and I'll do the same, then we'll drive in other vehicles to meet where we will swap coil overs. Good deal. Between Shipping and install costs, this is a much better idea considering all we have to pay for is the gas for driving.

I apologize in advance for posting this here but no one responded to the thread I created. I have a huge problem with my 06 fx4. Recently under heavy throttle my truck has been backfiring from the exhaust and losing power. It's almost like it is misfiring. I cleaned the mass air flow sensor but didn't help. If anyone knows any solutions it would be appreciated. I also have a k&n cold air intake. Idk if it could be related to that or not
