Byram here. I'm so old, I was raised never even having heard of "sweet" tea - it was just tea, and the sweetness varied by whose mother made it. Now mine was perfect! Just enough sugar to make it a tad sweet, not this syrupy stuff many restaurants serve now days. In "my" south, iced tea meant pre-sweetened tea; i.e., tea that had the sugar added when it was still hot.
