Not Perdido Key,.... Perdido,... About a 45 min trip up I-65 N of Mobile. Rural town has one light that blinks 10 churches and a vineyard http://www.perdidovineyards.net/

Lived about a mile from there.

Hooters, booze and guns are my 3 favorite subjects, not in any specific order.

Hell yeah!! Now this is off topic, but do y'all conceal carry? And if you do what's y'all's sidearm of choice?

Since the voters of Louisiana revised the states 2nd amendment to allow CC without a permit... yes I CC, criminals have been doing it for years and the state legislature recognized that fact. Open carry state but I don't wish to attract attention.

Summer time I carry a SigS .380

Winter time it's a Springfield 1911.

Agreed on open carry, I'd like a 45 but I went with something that can be concealed easily but it's also large enough to where it handles very well. I've got a CZ-75 P07 Duty 9mm

The biggest issue with CC is thickness of the gun, while concealed on the body a thick weapon tends to "print" aka a bulge between your body and your attire.

The 1911 is very thin (single stack magazine) compared to most semi auto pistols (double stack magazine), the SigS P238 .380 is designed on the same platform as the 1911, breaks down the same way as well, I call it a baby 1911.
