Ok, does anyone live in this area on the forum? If so, me and some friends are headed up there next weekend to go see 10 Years, Sevendust, Shinedown, Puddle of Mudd, and Chevelle in concert at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. My question, is there any part of the town we don't need to go to...like a rough part of town and such?

Been there several times (at least 15 times) and it's a nice place. Never went to the getto and had no reason to....

Stay out of the east then...when it's dark.

Alright thats what i was wondering....so the area i'm going to be in is the downtown part of Knoxville on Howard Baker Jr. Blvd, prolly 5 miles or so from UT Knoxville school. Downtown is not a bad part of town is it, or is that on the East part of town?

well the old city can get rough. and dont go east of town and youll be fine. west side and downtown. ill be back up there for school in about 3 weeks.
