Florida Hunting
Hey all you Florida folks, I thought I'd start a hunting thread to see if there's anybody out there who likes to hunt like I do.
I don't get out as much as I want to and normally hunt up in the Panhandle north of DeFuniak Springs on the Alabama border but I can't always get up that way because of work commitments. I live in Tampa and it's a good 6hr drive.
I'm looking for a place near here where I can pop some pigs and maybe a couple of deer on occasion. I've always hunted private land and want to keep it that way. I don't really like the idea of hunting the WMAs. Just too many uneducated folks out there with guns. I don't have anything against others doing it though and I know a lot of people have had great success with WMAs but it's just not for me.
So anyhow if you like to hunt lets talk Oh and don't forget to post up some pictures.

To get us started here's a couple of pics from last season. I didn't get a chance to get out this year sadly...
We wound up taking two home. A nice spike and a doe. I didn't get many photos of this trip because I was sick as a dog the last 3 days. Normally we camp for about 5 days in doe season to increase our odds of a kill. The farm belongs to my daughter-in-law's sister and is 300 acres. About 75 is wooded and the rest in pasture for her husbands cows. Great place, great people...awesome time.

New to FL need a hunting bro!
New(ish) to central Florida, moved here from Louisiana three years ago to go to law school. Recently graduated and passed the bar exam and can now finally get back in the woods without lugging case law around. Let's get this thread started back up since gen gun season is imminent! I don't know anyone with private land, and have been doing the seldom WMA. It's super boring going alone, so if anyone around the central FL region needs a cajun broski to tag along with (or could spare room for one) then let me know!

Hey guys, fellow cracker here: hunter and fisherman! I've been scouting a few places around Orlando and have come up good on pigs, turkey and have seen some deer.... Although, weren't worth wasting a good bullet on! I'm down to meet other like minded folks so, thanks for starting this thread!

Ayyyy alright! Well, I'm always down for some hog action this time of year if these baby deer don't want to grow fat. I'm open every Saturday until Christmas week then I'm headin back over to the Promise Land to see the folks for a few days.

It's always nice to get out & enjoy the Country side.
You are smart to get the hide off as soon as you can.
Good Job.
No Hogs to hunt here.
