Default North Dakota must haves!

Guys,

Took a job in the oil fields up there and just want to know what I should have for my truck for traveling up there. Places to avoid near Dickinson? Any places I should consider living in? All I ever hear is that ND is expensive to live in, any truth to this? Thanks for your help!

I live on the east side of north dakota but the weathers the same. Its best to have a 4x4, bed cover, tow rope, and first aid kit in your truck. Along with a blanket incase you get stuck in a snow storm and cant travel the roads. All terrain tires too.remote start would be helpful along with a cold weather grill cover. As for the cost of living its quite expensive in williston and dickinson from what ive heard. Like 2k a month for a one bedroom apartment in some areas in west nd. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Luckily the company I'm working for doesn't require me to live near the site so I plan to live in either Wyoming or Minnesota. Luckily I already have everything you mentioned other than the cold weather grille guard.
