Tinting Shops in South Louisiana
Anyone know of a good one? I just had my windshield replaced. I want to get a visor tinted on the windshield. I went to a place in Metairie. They charged me $40, and the tint fell off within the next 3 hours. I went back to that shop the next morning, and they promised to order a different type and re-tint it. Weeks later, they called me and invited me in so they could apply vinyl to my windshield instead of tint. I won't be going back there for tint...just to get my money back. Anyway, are there any good shops around that handle the dot matrix portion well? I know it can be a pain and look bad, so I want to do a little research. Thanks!

got me a "eyebrow" whatever you call it and they also tinted my whole truck 5%. Mobile Tint an audio in Metairie across causeway from lakeside mall, on the service road. they didn't charge as much as I though they would. think he said its $20 for a visor. i have their # if you want, pm me
I am trying to find a shop that does it right, either with heat, glue, vinyl, magic, or intimidation. There are a few trucks around town with visors that look like crap because the tint doesn't stick well to the dots. I would rather pay a little extra and have it done correctly.

Thanks for the response. I called over there, and they said that they do not do anything special for the dot matrix. It will either look good or it will look bad...

The place that originally did the tinting was going to vinyl just the dots, then tint the rest. Now the guy is refusing to do that, and said that he will either vinyl the whole brow, or nothing at all. I know there are people out there with vinyl visors, but it seems dangerous to me. I'm assuming that it is also illegal in Louisiana, but I do not know for sure. Anyone know the facts about that?
