i worked at Fowler Chrysler Jeep Dodge.

the fired me cause i only did 5% upsell over the day shift guy who did 13%. but i volunteered to work nights. im more qualified than he is by alot. i have a college degree, im Chrysler certified, express lane certified, and i have been in the industry longer than he has by 6 years. my manager let me go wed then went on factions. so i have to wait for him to come back to sit down with him and get a real good explanations why i was fired better than i didnt sell.

these are the things i did there:
Lot Porter
Shuttle driver
taged and wrote up tradeins
wrote express lane
wrote main shop tickets
volunteered to work nights shift
work every sat for 4 months when we were down an advisor
always came in early when someone was sick or on vaction
etc.

other thing is that i was a very good employee. only ever called in sick once in 15months. never late. was always putting work before everything.

when i did my inspection sheets and tried to sell stuff to customers, if they said no, i just gave them the copy of there inspection sheet and left it at that. my manager wanted me to ask why the people didnt want to buy things, which i think is rather rude. im not a pushy person. if they wanna buy it then great, if not its ok.

they were good to work for. everyone in the shop and on the drive get along great. but they have really ****ty customer based. its located right off I240 in a bad part of town so out customer are cheap and poor. i think they need to move the dealer somewhere else and i bet there sales will go up. you can hear gunshots from the apartments next door least every week.

just feel like i got screwed out of a job over numbers issue. great way to screw over a good employee
