Well, the insurance company from the car wash place finally sent me the "quote" to get my truck fixed. If you don't remember, or haven't heard, this place (car wash) had a hose that had wire sticking out of it, and it put scratched all over my truck. Some scratches are less deep than others, but some are pretty bad. Anyways, the "insurance" company sent a paper to us saying, "Buff vehicle completely." With a grand total of $750 (). Now I already had a estimate done, and that person figured the truck was going to have to be re-painted. However, they will pay the difference if the "cost" is more than they wrote (which it will be). Although their claim says "buff vehicle completely," it says nowhere in there to apply a clear coat? Which is a big problem. In addition, I will either fight them for more $$$ due to the clear coat (which means I would take the money, and not fix the truck), or go to a body shop to have them paint/buff the truck, and make the insurance company pay out more money...
