These are just ideas. Any other places that you might think would work? Also, I'm not sure on how the city does permits for group functions. Might be something else to consider.

Getting in with K.I.D. to sponsor during a Saturday test and tune would be cool.

I know I've contacted a few guys about the show and shine my department is doing in October so I'll see if I can get any other sponsors for this.

I think it's too close to race weekend for the show tomorrow. I'll probably be at the track for times tomorrow though. Need to see if i can move up on the list with that good air.

By the way gates open at 10 track starts at 11 tomorrow. I think it's 20 to run and 15 per carload.

EDIT** I was going to go to the track later today, but I'm not going to be able to make it.

Thought about heading to the track but didn't wanna miss the Notre Dame game lol.

I'd really like to see this happen, even if it's just a simple meet and greet.

Well I made a post on FB and it seem that both MH and Rusty Eck want to host this... especially Eck since they've contacted me about a dozen times.


Thoughts on this? I was just thinking a low key truck meet where we can all b.s. and see what kind of attendance we have. If it's a big turn out then we could think about contacting offroad venders etc. I was just hoping we could do a morning one and get one of the dealers to sponsor donuts and coffee!!

I'm a second shifter, so it'd have to be a weekend for me to make it. I'm good with whoever sponsors it. I don't like the sales people at eck, but that's a moot point. Maybe we can swing a couple meets sponsored by them both. Lol.

Are they wanting to do a truck only meet or just ford in general? A link to the Facebook post?

Hey guys,


So apparently my friends up at Long McArthur Ford in Salina, Kansas saw my post. The owner has since contacted me and is currently setting up a huge truck event. They will have live music, food, dirt jumps, awards for the biggest lift, longest drive, lowest, etc etc. They are working on getting in some vendors as well so it will be an all around good time. He sent me some pics of this massive dirt ramp they made and took some promo photos with a few of their trucks up there. I'll post the flier when it's available, but Nov 7th is looking like the date.
