I am moving from Pensacola, Fl to Everett, Wa. ....Do I need snow tires or chains for my 2WD?

I just spoke to the truck driver who is transporting our household goods to Everett, Wa and they advised getting chains for the trip up, especially since we are traveling during late Nov-Early Dec.

Definitely wouldn't hurt to have them just in case, weather is pretty unpredictable. Good luck on the drive!!

i would do one or the other. Typically, the season will start at the middle of Dec. till the end of Jan., but there could be times before or after that they will be usefull.

Everett area gets some snow around the first of the year. seeing where your moving from its safe to assume your navy, i would get them at the base px just to be on the safe side. usually if it does snow up here it only sticks around for a couple days. you have to worry more about black ice then anything else here in western wa. i live in silverlake just outside everett. If you want to go play in the snow hit me up when you get here.
