Default Alcan

im gonna be driving to las vegas, and wanted to know if CB radios are used much on the ALCAN thru the Yukon. just in case something bad happens like loosing my axel on my trailer AGAIN. I don't want to buy a SAT Phone and ACS is kinda spotty through out the area. I just like to be prepared and I wouldn't mind chatting on the road either.
