Default New guy to Las Vegas

I am new in the Las Vegas area and looking for some easy to moderate trails to just putt around on. Don't want to get too extreme, I'm still making payments! Just want something for some weekend fun.

There are many places out here to go off-roading. Nellis dunes past the speedway is a nice little place with sand. On the way to Lake Mead is a few trails, south on 95 is a dry lake bed. I now I'm exploring some on the west side. Just go out there and enjoy and take lots of water with you.

Go out to Red Rock Canyon. My personal favorite trail out there is Rocky Gap Road. It gets pretty rough at times but the scenery is worth it.

I have been hitting up some of the roads in the Desert NWR. Some good stuff out there right on the edge of the NTTR.

Still very new to all this, any local stuff going on for us F150 guys? Tired of seeing the Raptor and Tundra Clubs rolling around all the time.

I'm not new to "this" but new to this area. There is a website made by a bird watcher that has some cool back roads http://www.birdandhike.com/Roads/_Roads_index.htm

Going out tonight to look for some more local spots where we have all this extra water!! You know of any F150 groups that meet and do runs, or places that people around here usually go for after market products? Any help would be much appreciated.
