I take my 2wd just about everywhere. Does fine in anything but deep snow deep mud or loose sand. But most local trails are no problem.

cool...well, I'm down to try if you have a tow rope

how's the drive up to santiago peak?

I work near there on alternating weekends...I can be there around 5:30-5:45pm on a Saturday or Sunday...if we turn around by 7, we can be back on pavement by sundown

I've got a strap. It would be great if someone had a winch. Also I set up my own cat back exhaust. Short headers to the stock y pipe and cats then a 3" tube to a Summit baffled muffler then a 3" turnout. Sounds nice with a low rumble at idle and little drone. The headers leak a little at the joint so I'm going to change the connector. Of course this is on a 90 5.0 so I'm not sure how relevant it is to you.

Ventura County here.

Just foud out all pick up trucks are considered 'commercial vehicles' in this state. Boy was I surprised by my plate renewal fees. The idiots in Sacramento never cease to surprise me. Complete BS. /rant
