I'm thinking about getting a 28 ft travel trailer so that my family and I can actually stay the night at Crystal Beach. We'd have to go around through I-10 to get there with a 28 ft'er but I think it would be worth it simply for the convenience factor. Still thinking August time frame before school starts. Would definitely be nice to get out there and have a nice get together with fellow F150forum members. Beach, beer, BBQ!

Roger, Will do! Although my most pressing concern at this time is simply getting back to the states in June. I can't WAIT to get home and install all my goodies

I'll be posting in this thread with much more frequency between now and July. Mostly July and August though. It is kinda difficult for me to plan an event right now and I'm not even in the states. I hope more folks would be willing to join us out there in August.

Bolivar is a great beach to have fun at, I've been there ever summer for quite some time

I've been tempted to go camp on the beach before it gets too hot. I was thinking crystal beach but I haven't been down there in years. Is there some place better?

I'm only knowledgeable about South Padre Island. I do know that Galveston blows. This will be my first experience on Crystal Beach so I'm looking forward to going in August.

I wont be into my new truck until mid October. If anyone wants to unofficially plan a meet/ride/whatever for December/January I would be down!
