New here as well. I am in the Jersey Village area.

As far as Dealers go, I have had great luck with Helfman. Family friends with the GM and Helfman family, so I know that helps too.

Champion Ford (Formerly Texan Ford) in Katy used to have a fantastic Master Tech there, but he has left to instruct at Universal Technical Institute (UTI).

The other dealer that has been very good has been Tommie Vaughn Ford on Shephard/Durham.

I'm just guessing here, but rigs are shutting down all over the place right now with oil below $50/barrel. Most companies going after oil in the new shale plays of Texas need $80/barrel to make money. That's also why you see Halliburton, Schlumberger, and Baker Hughes announcing layoffs, a large portion of those layoffs are coming from cutting the guys in the field.

Your pretty much right. I build oilfield equipment and we were told they might have to lay some of us off
