Meet and greet in Houston October 18th guys. There is a thread started under the Texas regional forums for anyone interested. We'll be posting info and updates on there. We've got trucks from ms, and tx so far.

Default East Texas folks.

I live in Nederland. Does anyone know of a meet and greet coming up. I know there is a ford hot rod show in silsbee May 2nd. I could use some input on a coyote swap in my 79 f100. Say hello if you see me around.

Meet and greet coming up DECEMBER 5th in Houston! Kicks off at noon!! It's being held at @baggedexpo house. Myself, @davidschlot822, as well as a couple other members will be there, as well as a ton of other people from Houston. Pm me for details. BYOB, but we will have a margarita machine set up for the ladies. Bring your wives or girlfriend! Here's a couple pics from previous meets-

Looks to me that if you don't have a $50k+ rig you won't be welcome.

of you love trucks, then you're welcome. We don't discriminate against anybody man. Yes most of us are blessed with good jobs, but we work hard for what we love. And for most of us our trucks are everything. Not just something we drive. I'm sorry if you assumed that you have to drive a 50k dollar truck to be welcome, but that would be completely wrong. You are more than welcome to bring whatever it is you drive to one of our meets

Just to piggy back off what @2012platinum said, no one will ever be turned away from one of these meet ups. The first one we did had 4 generations of F150s, amongst others. It's not about the truck you drive, it's about having a passion for trucks. That's why we did the first one. It was an ability to get a group of people who had talked back and forth on here for months and months finally together.

Sorry to make assumptions. I've been to an f150 meet organized through this forum before and I was the only 9th gen there. The impression I got was that I wasn't welcome because my truck wasn't 2012 or newer and doesn't have a 6 inch lift on it. I didn't go to show off my truck I went to see others trucks, yet I still had a bad experience.
