Big Shell beach is located approx. 28 miles south of where you enter the Padre Island National Seashore, they recommend 4 wheel drive due to the soft sand and how remote the location is.

Dang! So its past where we have to pay 25$ to get in? I like that area alot, I may talk my dad into bringing my old lab, but Im bringin my fishing gear for sure cause I've pulled a few reds off that beach but nothing past mile marker ten.
