I'm originally from the RGV but I live in Houston. Still have lots of family down there and I visit when I can. Hope to make it to the Edinburg Mud Pit one day.

From san benito here! Didn't know there was a thread for us! Been wanting to get a truck just need to save up. Any suggestions on dealerships with better deals than others?

It really depends on what you're looking for. The bigger dealerships around your area like Boggus, Charlie Clark, Cardenas, and I can't remember the one that's closer to San Benito all offer some decent prices for used trucks. Most of the time they are overpriced and you need to negotiate them down. Cash in hand is always a bonus.

Your best bet is the smaller used car lots if you're looking for an 04-08. Stop by as many as you can just to see what they have and whittle them down to a good price.

Well I'm looking for a 2014 stx supercrew. The reason is because the earlier years of the stx didn't have the screw and I really like the vinyl floors! I also don't need all the electronics. How about Spike's, Tipton, or Hacienda? I'm looking to buy one late this year or early next year since the prices and rebates will drop when the 2015s come out.

I used to know salesman back in the day. I was a salesman at Charlie Clark but I was horrible at it...LoL!

I don't know much about Spike's, Tipton, or Hacienda. One of them is bound to have a deal on the 14's once the new shipments come in. Try to find one with the rebate and the markdowns for being old inventory. It costs them money to keep them on the lot.

Hacienda will probably be best bet negotiate at least 10k off sticker. Or use programs like costco or Sam's club and its their price plus rebates. If your willing to travel dealers in san antonio houston austin have better deals easier to haggle. Got my 2012 xlt supercrew 4x4 new for like 30.
