Default Who in Alberta has had their Evap core changed and where?

Looking for a dealer that won't play the "We have never heard of this problem" card. I get blank stares and no resolution as is. I don't tell them how to do their job but they just tell me that my bandaid smell and poor a/c is normal.... even though my FX4 is the one doing it and my XLT doesn't. ... Okay... lol. I will fix it independently from Ford if that's what it takes but if a dealer that had experience with the issue does it i doubt I will have a problem. Thanks!

Why are you changing the evaporator? Do you have a leak that was found in it?

Since posting this I have drawn a different conclusion and resolution. I don't have a dealer, nor want one touching either of my trucks... I will not go back to the 2 that I bought from... or anyone else for that matter. I have been through 4 dealerships and honestly they don't even attempt to look for the problem... they don't test the a/c even with a simple Guage set... they don't do anything lol. This route just saves time and frustration I have no patience for anymore. I will take it to a dedicated a/c shop and have someone competent tend to whatever issues they find. Thanks.

And the evaporator core is under the dash of the truck... so if they warrantied your condenser from hitting something that is pretty decent.

Haha no merlin said the smell was from running over something on road. jubilee did a leak test and found pressure was dropping and went looking for leak. Its a big job took them 2 days. yes its under dash and they had to remove center console and front seats to get everything out and back together. Anyway good luck i know its frustrating trying to take to some of these places

I just won't deal with these jackholes anymore. I honestly couldn't care less if I pay to have it fixed....... I just want it fixed! So I will just avoid Ford dealers altogether and I am sure it will get resolved lol.
