New F150 Owner Needs some Sync Help!
Hey all,
I am new to the forums as I just purchased a 2009 F150 Platinum a week ago, and am looking for some information.
So I just purchased this truck last Wednesday and am now looking to update my maps and sync as I don't believe it has been done since the truck has been released... Anyway, I registered the vehicle with VIN on SyncMyRide and it told me the last registered update was February 09, 2009 of V2... It says I have a "dealer installed update ready" Which is "9L2T-14D544-BE Gen1 - V2.1". I live in the Toronto area if that changes anything?
I called Ford Canada customer service and was told it is a dealer install only, but my question is.... IS this the newest version of sync for my F150? Or can I further advance into newer versions as I have seen Gen 1's go up to 4.4.1 according to some research?
