BTW thanks for the price list F150LimitedFan!

I went for a test drive today. Never had a truck before, loved it. Thinking of financing Loaded XLT.

Wonder how much more i can get down besides what the website shows me.

I'm assuming it means With Holdback / Less Holdback.

Here's a good article about it ...friggen dealers.

Interesting read.
I had a dealer recently say he would honour 1% below invoice but of course that leads to the question...
What is the true invoice?
I said to someone recently I'm not trying to fleece anyone I unstated to be in business you have to make money but I refuse to overpay.

holdback is the profit the managers make if they sell a product "within the inventory", if they locate a unit from other dealers they lose that holdback as they pay shipping which gets deducted from their holdback profit

in addition, say if they sold a truck at cost, x-plan or a-plan, even at "cost price" they still make holdback as their profit..in otherwise "cost" price isnt really cost they make money on the deal

Here in Ontario it seems like the dealers go to price on an xlt 300a is around $37.
If I were to target $39 for a unit with a 302a package that would still leave any dealership incentives/ rebates for profit.

mind you the pricing list I provide doesnt include delaer rebates such as costco $1000 etc, or any "delivery allowance"..theres an extra $3750 or $4500 off from dealers on engine types.

I do recall that when I last looked at the price of a 4*4 screw xlt it had the same price for 300a-302.
In saying that 38ish may not be outside the realm of possibility for a 302a.
Thank you again
